Hey everyone, finished our Fraser Island trip on Saturday and it was fantastic! Its so bizarre that its completely made of sand yet still has loads of lush rainforest growing on it. We visited some of the freshwater lakes on the island including Lake McKenzie which is so clear that you can swim underwater with your eyes open and still see where you're going! We left Townsville for Airlie Beach last Thursday and organised a trip out to the Whitsundays and one from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island.
