Well, its still hot! And the zoo was amazing! We didn't get to meet Steve "the Crocodile Hunter," but we did get to meet his crocs and alot of the other animals he had shown on TV. When we were waiting for a plane in Singapore, we saw an episode where he showed three baby tasmanian devils, and then we saw them at the Zoo! It was a really neat experience, and we will have to go back when all of the Animal Planet funded expansions have finished in two years time. We did get to see however, the "Crocoseum," where they put on a combination snake/big cat/bird/croc show in a 5000 seat stadium. It's amazing what a crazy crocodile obsessed man can do when you get a cable channel behind you! That night we drove to Townsville, another beautiful beach, more shopping, its almost getting too much! We didnt stay long as we had our eyes on Cairns, and the Great Barrier Reef. We arrived on Thursday and have been enjoying the pool at our Resort Park and are relaxing over the holiday weekend - anticipating our PADI course next week!
