I am now so far behind with this blog, due to lack of internet connection and time, that I will now be adding updates that date back up to 6 weeks! Rather than slot them in where they should be, I will continue to use the current date so they don't get lost in the trail - apologies for any confusion.

So what is missing?? Well, off the top of my head.....

- walking down through forest into the valley to search for snared dogs (two dead, one we released)

- amputating the leg of a wild dog in the field on the tailgate of the landcruiser

- darting cheetah, replacing collars, and taking samples/giving injections

- face to face with cheetah

- lion call ups (x2) - so far I have added some of the photos of one of them

- big tusker elephants

I have learnt that I need to sort out mobile internet, even if it is horribly slow it will be better than nothing.

That said, I am now just about through the cold turkey of having no internet and limited phone, and I have to admit that it has been liberating!!
