Arrived in Cairns after Magnetic Island with the guys in the evening, and took a nice stroll, yeah right, with our backbacks and luggage to the recommended hostel Gilligans. Wow, it was more of a hotel with a lush resort, it's own pool, bar/club, entertainment and more.... Our room was the best we had stayed in yet, NO BUNK BEDS, yey! We each had our own single bed and the room was huge with an en-suite CLEAN toilet and shower, and wait for it.....AND a large balcony were we could overlook the pool and listened to the cool band music played by a guy on a guitar each night, fab....and heaven!

Ventured to check out the resort just for a quick drink that evening and got told off by Thomas who was unimpressed that we encouraged him to drink then left for bed, ha!
