Hello there. My day is over and I'm starting to feel very depressed about the looming departure. I have made the most incredible friends from home and afar, and just had the time of my life.

Anyway- since nobody wants to hear of my sadness let's talk about Stonehenge! As no- one is exactly sure why or how the rocks came to be where they are, in that exact configuration Stonehenge is a happy mystery. It felt tranquil to walk around the rocks and listen to the guided tour… until Tierra took my headphones to sing me a homemade song about the stones. That was less tranquil.

I hope that somewhere, somehow the original movers of stone are laughing at the people who constantly try and figure out the exact meaning of the monument and how the stones could have been moved. It seems to be that it is meant to be a mystery, and the fact that there are so many implausible questions surrounding Stonehenge makes it one of the great wonders of the world.

Now on to Bath! This was quite an experience for me, since I knew little to nothing about the Roman baths. Used as a sort of Spa to the townspeople, mostly the rich I assume, the baths had separate chambers for separate activities, such as the hot chamber for relaxing the skin and scraping the, dead tissue off. I also learned that the Baths were actually buried underground at some point, and were unearthed much after the Romans buried them under houses. Imagine uncovering an ancient Roman bath in your basement?! I'm still happy I got to experience a walking tour through the baths, and even got to taste the awful smelling warm water of the baths!

Tomorrow is the last day. I'm going to pretend it's not.
