Right-io. As its my last day in Thailand, and of my trip i just really wanted
to write and say goodbye and I'm sure i will see everyone soon. i have had a
great time traveling with these two, and we have had many laughs. the other
reason for me writing in this blog, as in the last few blogs that my dear
friend Karli has written i feel that there were some points she made about
me that were hugely exaggerated! so here are my amendments to the following
entries:

When Karli mentioned in Penang that i highly enjoyed the food court as all
they seemed to do was play Westlife and Backstreet Boys constantly.. this is
not entirely true! yes they did seem to play a worryingly amount of songs
from these particular bands.. however i can put all your minds at ease that
i have not suddenly become a new found lover of either Westlife or the
backstreet boy!

Re my tan lines: yes they were bad and i did look like a retarded zebra..
but I'm sure u will all be pleased to know that they have died down and i
look perfect sun kissed now and not like sum giant tomato :o)

and then comes the issue of almost letting Karli drown.. now I shall explain
exactly what did happen... Karli put her head under the water, and was there
for a considerable amount of time.. so i did think that something was
wrong.. and MAYBE her hair was stuck.. and was indeed about to go and rescue
her when she reappear, quite dramatically, and then all was well.. i was not
going to let her drown, and maybe i should suggest in future tying her hair
up while she is swimming so that there is no likelihood of getting her hair
caught.

lastly i would just like to add that it k did forget to mention that while
on Langkawi and peacefully taking a little stroll around the island i was
almost knocked out by a coconut tree leave falling from a great height! for
all of you that may be alarmed by this, do not worry, i am now OK, and i
feel that no permanent damage has been done.. although others may disagree.

now i think that is all that i wanted to add to previous blog entries. and
so i shall just give you a quick update on where we are at at the moment.
we are now in Surat Thani where we arrived on Friday. we had
to travel all day to get here, by bus and then by mini van, arriving late at
night, with no idea where we were going to stay, no money as we had not yet
reached an ATM, and a greater language barrier than we had encountered before.
it was an interesting experience. not to worry we did not spend the night on
the streets, as we managed to find a quite decent hotel to stay in for that
night, and we then transferred to a backpackers hostel the next day.
i am now leaving this evening to catch my bus to Bangkok. this should take
me about 12hrs. i then have to spend all day in the airport until my flight
leave tomorrow evening, which I'm sure will be great fun!
Karli and Ness however are planning on getting a night boat tonight across
to the island of Koh Phangan for the full moon party, which i
am quite jealous of!
well that is all from me. i shall see everyone very soon when i am back.
