We have changed our plans (mainly because of money-or the way it's quickly getting less and less!!) We are now leaving for Adelaide on Sunday 22nd and going on the great Indian Pacific train journey that lasts 2 days!! We'll spend around a week there, then look into going to see ayres rock as we didn't manage to see the north of WA or NT. After Adelaide, we will take a bus tour along the Great Ocean road towards Melbourne.
Hopefully, once we get towards the East coast it'll be hot!! I'm still chilly everyday and in the evenings have to put socks, jumper and jeans on to stop the chill!!!!! I'll make sure i'm nice and brown though for you Emily when you come over!!!!

Hi Mate, Thinking of you as we are just about to tuck into a massive feast- CURRY!!!!!! (if it ever bloody well arrives). We are having a good gossip and catch up and missing you loads- drinking some lovely new gold wine that Nats mum has left her- delicious, looks like piss but is still delcious.
Lindsay is well pissed after only one glass- things dont change. Good job were not in scream otherwise we might have been chucked out by now.

Hiya kimmy, hope your ok, looks like your having a fab time, thought I let you know the news, me and Lorraine are expecting in May, 14 weeks at the mo, all ok had the first scan and all ok. take care of yourself and have fun.

Well, we finally arrive home safely from our week long road trip down south. We went to a Dolphin discovery centre in Bunbury (really crap - don't know why the guidebooks even mentioned it!!!) did lots of wine/ cheese /chocolate /toffee tasting in Margaret River, went to the point where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet in Augusta (very bottom left corner of Oz), Kim climbed a huge tree in Pemberton(60m high - doesn't sound much, but I managed about 5m and freaked out as I don't like heights and had to come back down!!!), we went on a tree-top walk 40m high in Walpole (my legs were like jelly, I clung onto the handrails for dear life and was on the verge of tears, but the views were amazing!), saw the most amazing coastline near Albany where the rocks are totally huge and gobsmacking....then we drove about 400k north of Albany and broke down in the middle of nowhere!!!! It was my worst nightmare coming true! The car suddenly overheated and stopped! Smoke pouring out from under the bonnet was not a good sign. We were at least 30k from the next town and i had visions of dying of dehydration in the heat and getting eaten by Kangaroos. Luckily as it's bloody cold here at the moment, we didn't overheat!!! We flaged down a car (the only one we'd seen in over 2 hours) and they temporarily fixed the car and led us to a tiny town called Pingaring, went and found the mechanic and he did the old shake his head and tut thing that mechanics always do when they look at your b*****ed car! The town was so small, about 15 people lived there. there was a B&B but we didn't have enough cash and they didn't have card facilities, so we slept in the car - wearing all of our clothes as it got freezing at night!!! A truck arrived at 7.30 am the next morning to tow the truck all the way back to Perth!!!! Oh well - I suppose it's a good story to tell that you broke down in the bush (or maybe not-depending on your definition of bush...) We're currently planning a trip up north (I refuse to drive that way - it's soooooo far!!) so will probably be leaving Perth by next weekend. Hopefully the weather will be getting better soon - the rain and cold today made me feel like I was back at home in November (but wearing shorts and a thin jumper!!!) Miss you all loads. Hows it going ladies? From those amazing piccys you have posted pretty good by the looks of things. Sorry you havent had any emails but they keep coming back for some bizarre reason. Had a fab boogy with your mum the other night down at the BBC watching your dad we had a right giggle. We are going over for Xmas day but it wont be the same without you guys and Nick. Gday mon petit pois !!!
Well Yesterday we went down into some amazing caves and got talked round by the pair of cheesiest australians u could imagine rolf is darylee cheese compared to theese 2 !!! We got headsets and everything and when u got to a new location u would type in a number and they would chat to u about that stalagtite (They all look like nik naks (the crisps) we have decided thats how cheesy nik naks are made ).The headset things even pingged like the old story tapes u used to get when u had to turn the page !!! Anyway.... after that we drove through forrests and I climbed a tree that was 60 meters high !!!! yes i did !! You can look it up on the net its called the gloucester tree its the tallest climbing tree in oz and i was on top of it baby !!!! Oh and we went to the place where the indian ocean and the southern ocean meet and we saw a pod of dolphins !! god i love this nature malarki mother natures a talented old bird !!!
Today we went to the valley of the giants which is a suspended bridge and hangs 40meters above the forrest floor I have taken so many pictures of trees Karla has started teasing me !!! So all in all done a lot of nature observing and tree hugging literally !!!
Oh and karla ran over a snake today !!! And we have saw 2 dead kangeroos by the side of the road ...more roadkill updates as and when they arrive !!!!!
We are in Albany now and are staying here 4 2 nights xxx love 2 u all ..
Ps. Its flippin cold here we are still trying to find hoodies in charity shops for warmth we only have summer clothes !!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
