1, 2, 3……here we go!

After the months of planning and weeks of preparation, we are finally off. Got to the airport at 3:00 pm and went on to the gate with Kyla, Mary, and Michael. I was so proud of myself, my luggage wasn't overweight and I got everything there on time. We got our group lists. I am in charge of the Green group (apparently as Captain Kari), Michael is in charge of the Red group, and Nakita has the Blue group. I have the most people in mine, and Michael has all of the guys in his. We had a couple of issues with some missing people at the airport, who either did not check in with us at the gate or checked in and then wandered off. I hope this doesn't get to be a problem. I was more focused on trying to remember people's names, at least those that are in my group at first. We have a Mary, a Mary Rose, and a Marianne, so I'll have fun with that.

We took off a little bit after 6 pm and so far I've just been doing my culture class homework (finished it! finally), listening to my iPod and eating dinner. Panda Express at the airport and rigatoni for plane food. Now it's time for me to get back to business and work on finishing my homework for my history class. See you in St. Petersburg!
