Privet from St. Petersburg! We left Atlanta yesterday at 6 pm and arrived in St. Petersburg at XXX pm the next day. Wow! It was a total of about 18 hours including our layover. The flights were not good, Lufthansa is the same as always, but I actually did sleep a little on the plane. I snuggled into my blanket and neck pillow, popped in some earplugs and an eyemask. I'm sure I looked ridiculous, but I did get about three hours sleep, which is highly unusual for me. A neck pillow will do wonders! Everyone traveling should get one!

We arrived and met Irina and Jeff, got on a bus, and almost an hour later we were at IMOP (our school and dorms, part of St. Petersburg Polytechnic State University). We did check in and received our room and building keys. Nakita and I have the first room on the hallway. I'm not sure if it's because we are supposed to keep an eye on people or just luck of the draw. Our roommates are Trisha and Crystal, who are both former Army women. I'd be scared of them if I was a terrorist.
