Yesterday, was very hectic, after checking out at the hotel and waiting around for the taxis (which were late) we finally made it to the express, you have to sit in your assigned number. Watching the world go by with the interesting breakfast, a Marie biscuits with tea, dome veg rolls on carrot and (half) cooked peas. Plenty of bottled water
If you kept your eyes awake you might have seen the sitting sedately on the platform, while commuters are bustling around him/her, a curios rat at mother station poking his head out checking if there was anything for him to scavenge, the peacock in the middle of a field sitting proudly atop a fence in the middle of the Crop of Rice? The monkey playing along side the railway overpass, the slums built all up around them, particularly at stations. Seeing the people cleaning thirty teeth. Or just randomly squatting doing "their business" in the field, along the train lines just anywhere they feel like.
At the Gwalior station we were met by some lovely Rotarians and were Lei'd which we got done at three occasions today. the second was to the meeting of the Rotary Club of Gwalior, then at their Presidents house for dinner,
During the day we went the the Palace here, which the Royal family still owns and lives in part of, something you need to here and see for yourself. Once Terry gives me the relevant information will be good
In the morning at Prestige Institute of Management we were witness to the Charter of the Rotaract Club of Prestige Gwalior. We were treated like Royalty. They are all so eager, a club of 25 at Charter is great, Rotaract is a big thing here. I wish them all the best and look forward to keeping in touch with some of them
