This trip has definitely started out better than the last one! All flights made it (if slightly late) and we arrived without any major mishaps! We got to our hotel and were able to check in early.....thank goodness! We took a little siesta before heading off to our first adventure. We did a little exploring on the tram and realized that we didn't have quite enough time to do the Heineken Brewery and our Pizza Cruise today, so we've rescheduled Heineken for tomorrow.  

 The dinner cruise was awesome. We got to see Amsterdam from the canals and in a whole different light from walking or even driving. We hit some of the highlights....the Ann Frank House (which we'll actually visit tomorrow), the Red Light District (on tap for tomorrow night.....could be VERY interesting!) and the Skinny Bridge. Legend has it that if you kiss your love while passing under the Skinny Bridge, you'll remain together and in love for the rest of your life. Hmmmmm......might have to come back and try that some day!

The cruise included pizza, drinks and ice cream.....doesn't get much better than that. The pizza was awesome, the Heineken was cold and you can never go wrong with Ben & Jerry's Caramel Chew Chew!!!! We are now back at the hotel ready to rest up for another day tomorrow.
