Day Trip to Mt Tamborine and O'Reillys
Today mum, dad and I took a day bus tour. We headed south of Brisbane to the Goldcoast. First stop was to an Opel Shed, to see where opels are mined and how they are carved. We then got up to Mt Tamborine and looked around the craft shops that where there, didn't get much time though so wasn't a long stop. On the way to O'Reillys we took a stop at a look out over the Mountain ranges. At O'Reillys there is a treetop walk which, takes you through the tops of the rainforest trees which was really cool. Once we finished that, we walked through a garden then it was time for lunch and watch people feeding the birds. Back in the bus to an Alpaca Farm. We got to meet Roy, the male stud alpaca. He was such a placid thong, just stood there and let us stroke him. After our brief stop there it was then to O'Reilly's Winerary and for some good old tasting. I found a really nice red, so we got a bottle.
Then it was time for home. We were totally shattered by the time we got back so it was takeaway pizza and the bottle of wine at mum and dads apartment.
