Well, I think I had no sleep last. Damn strange...... After a shower, cigarette and breakfast, I was ready for another day of tubing. Woke up, sweating like hell: no electricity. The guest house staff advised me that it was due to a fire last night and that it would only be restored from 6 - 12 pm for the England Vs Portugal game, and then at six in the evening on Sunday. Up fair early after a good nights sleep. Nacho and the swiss girls arrived this morning from Luang Prabang and I saw George and Barney in the afternoon, looking lost. I rented out a bike (first time riding a geared mother) and with Nacho on the back I drove out of Vang Vieng to see what village life and river/mountain views we could find. Going down a muddy path to the river, I lost control and crashed the bike. All I heard was "NO..NO.. NOOOOOOO" and then ...

I slept for fourteen hours last night, awaikening feeling somewhere between sh*t and okay at 10:00 this morning. My neck's still hurting, but the sun-stroke's no more.
