It was quite late yesterday when I sat down to contemplate the official ending of my work focus and the commencement of my holiday and travel focus. For the next couple of months my main job is travelling! The first direction I've travelled is south, to catch up briefly with each of my offspring before I go away properly. We left Perth later than planned but enjoyed a good run to Albany despite the holdiay weekend traffic and the accompanying police. Have caought up with one daughter and one son already, another two daughters tonight, two more in the morning and 450km north again. Have attached a photo of Jonah and myself.

Over the past couple of days I have had some very good news, about contacts in England, motorcycles etc and some not so good news, that my mate Jim won't be able to join me as I had hoped. So now I am planning for a solo trip with a two week visit from my wife part way along.

This blog is somewhat rushed as Jonah and I are learing how to upload photo's and we must pick up his sister from work in a few minutes. I will attempt some more entertaining writing when I am further from home.
