Survived the road from Derwent Bridge to strachan in the rain. The vegetation has grown back a lot since my last run down the Queenstown road feels like a different place. Strachan is worse now though - tourist trap. We took the local advice and camped out at MacQuarrie Heads. Lovely sheltered spot complete with resident possum. The pic shows the bike at Hells Gates with the tourist boat in the background - probably the same one that was new last time I was here. Now we're off to check out the Western Explorer dirt road north from Zeehan.
