Hmmm....so, yeah....not so much what we pictured. Hopefully Bratislava is not symbolic of all of Slovakia. The people seem very friendly, but the city is not at all like Prague. Prague is BEAUTIFUL! The city is very intriguing....an odd mix between modern and very, very old. Our hostel is right in old town, which seems to be the best part of the city. The entire section of old town is cobblestone roads, patterned sidewalks, and gorgeous churches, castles, and buildings (Sean just thinks everything looks pointy!) Happy New Year! We have spent the last two weeks in Ireland with our families and have had such a great time. We've been staying in Listowel with the Flavin family, and taking many day trips to other parts of Ireland...so much fun! Tomorrow everyone else is heading home to the States and we are heading to Prague...more to come soon!!
