Good evening!

Yesterday was pretty uneventful, just did a fair bit of travelling. After walking round Prague for a few hours we went to Burger King at the train station- Grace got a huge burger and I had a nap. During the 5 hour journey we had the compartment to ourselves so took one side each and slept.

Our hostel in Vienna is really nice, but then again we're paying a fair bit for this place so it has to be nice! Today we tried to explore the city. Our first stop was Schloss Schoenbrunn. We were going to go into the palace bit the €9 entry fee is a big deterrent. We walked around the gardens for a bit, witnessed a group of male ducks harassing a female duck who couldn't fly away fast enough and then found a zoo. For 18 year olds the zoo is cheap, so by saying that my passport is back at the hostel we had a nice excursion to the zoo. Highlights include lots of penguins, a laidback panda, 2 runaway birds, a hundred flamingoes in a box room and the monkey/ ram pen.

We got lost in the main bit of the city today but our train isn't til 8pm tomorrow (we're going south and will hopefully get to Athens by Tuesday) so can have a better look then.
