Hi. Wanted to let everyone know what I have been up to. I left Chiang Mai a while ago to take a slow boat to Luang Prabang, Laos. We had a ride to the border, and then were supposed to get on the boat on the Mekong to Luang Prabang. I said supposed to, because apparently the boat was not running that day. Hi. Wanted to update before I head to Laos tomorrow. I am back in Chiang Mai, pretty much doing nothing but sitting around during the day and going out with a group of people I met at night. I needed a few days to just relax. After I left Pai, I booked a second class night bus to a city near the Lao border. The next day I was complaining to my Dutch friend that I didn't want to take the damn second class night bus. Her response..."well then don't." Hm...

Hi, I am back in Bangkok after about 10 days on the Thai beaches. I just put shoes on for the first time in about 2 weeks...kind of a weird feeling, you know what I mean? I am not much of a beach person, but it's hard not to have fun in southern Thailand. I first went to Ko Phi Phi, which is a beautiful island in the Andaman Sea. Hi. I arrived in Bangkok, Thailand a few days ago. I travelled here with a German guy and a Swiss girl from Siem Reap. We took a taxi from Siem Reap to the border because the road is terrible.
