RJ Watched a documentary on roaches. They need water and the two favorite places for them to get a drink is from the pan under the refrigerator and toothbrushes. Reason I went to using a fold-up travel toothbrush to conceal the bristles.

Jo Wei Time passed unbelievably fast, right? my 2-year contract in Honduras is almost to its end by far. Facing the last term with students, unexpectedly there is a voice inquiring myself to do more, and then pass it on smoothly. Not feeling much miss for home, I guess leaving home for so long one just creates home elsewhere. Good to read your writing. Remember the time in Chicago, anytime you're back in Asia or anywhere near Taiwan, let me know. take much care.

Adam Your comment about the Chinese dogs is hilarious. My Chinese lab mate was scared to death of Olive the first time we brought her home and she said it was because all dogs in China are extremely mean. This year she was much better around Olive (played with her and picked her up!), but she said she needs to get out of that habit when she gets home. She also said she doesn't think Alison and I should travel in China alone because they will rip us off. She has volunteered to travel with us and get good prices on everything.

Tam Just got home from a big gathering with other CSers. A lot of drinks (of course I just drank coke, ha ha) and talk. Felt a bit out of the group, ha, guessed I changed a lot after one year, I didn't really enjoy talking to by-pass friends anymore. Read your blog on China, very good writing as always. Sorry for the bad experiences you had there. It showed us that life is not always sweet, people are not always friendly but beside those, life is still good especially when we know that we are still alive healthily and have a lot of people love us :) Take good care, will talk to you sometimes. Julie Bohnstedt Justin, It's Julie...I guess your 3rd cousin (Marge & Lyle's Granddaughter). If you get a chance while in CHina try to visit Guilin. It's breathtaking. Our daughter Rowan is from near there. I will be following your journey. Can't wait to hear how you like CHina. We were there 2 years ago to get our daughter and fell in love with the people, culture, and food.
