Well, this is the bragging blog! Up at 3am to catch taxi to airport for flight to Copenhagen. Flight coming into Denmark spectacular with views of what appeared to be white cliffs then lush green land with the sea like a mill pond & blue skies. Big smiles on our faces as weather not great since Nice.

However that is not the bragging part!! We wandered into Copenhagen around the famous coloured apartments next to the canal, called Nyhavn. They are more impressive than the pictures you have probably seen.

Wandered & happened to come across the changing of the guards at the royal palace. Impressive, however the best was to come as we were walking out & everyone else had wandered off John & I were saying how relaxing the vibe of the place was with lots of mums walking through the palace square with prams & locals riding bikes etc...
I turned around & thought oh there's a mum with some children I'll get a photo. John said "That's Mary", the camera came out with a sense of urgency, meanwhile a man walked in front of me & was met with a hysterical scream of "out of my way, that's Mary". The man & his companions gathered round with great excitement that we had a photo. We were probably only a few metres away, unbelievable!
