Today was a day to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We spent most of the day lying on the beach, snorkeling, eating and drinking. At about 11am the first of the rum came out and it was on again. A couple of the group went to town and brought pork, vegetables and so forth. We cooked up a huge feed and once again just enjoyed the settings. Once again I drank too much and I believe I passed out at around 3pm and that was my day gone again.

Today we had hired a jeepney and were doing a tour of the island. First stop was the Healing Festival - quite an interesting gathering of various hippies, sorceres and witches. We hung around a little while ate some traditional Filipino food and then headed off to our next stop The Waterfalls. The waterfalls were amazing and there was a nice little ledge to jump from. Today I was up early and off to meet Kim and the other Couchsurfers at Catacugena. Two trikes, a bunch of small towns and about 80 cents later I arrived at the marine sanctuary. Unfortunately I was dropped at the wrong place and spent two hours wondering around the jungle lost. Today was my last day in Bohol so Elaine and I got up early and once again were treated to a feast of hot cocoa, omelette, vegetable patties, sweet potatoes, fried fish and Pappaya. We had organized to meet up with Alex and Lorenzo at a village nearby and do a hike up the highest hill in the village. This was my first time riding a scooter in the Philippines and after a month at home I had a bit of trouble adjusting to riding on the right hand side of the road. ...

Today was an early start as I needed to be off early to get my ferry ticket to Siquijor. The Maid where I was staying was up super early cooking me the most delicious breakfast of stirfry vegetables in soy / fish sauce, sweet potatoes and omelette - with local cocoa drink.
