Today I was feeling quite hungover but had promised to cook for Elle and her friends who were off on a beer-hike early in the morning. Today I hoped to visit the Golden Gate Bridge but upon making it to Bus Stop I was informed it was $10 a ticket - ridiculous I said I could walk that so that's what I did. I didn't walk all the way but made it to a nice look out point that had views of both the bridge and Alcatraz. I sat ate lunch and pondered the archaeological magnificence of such a structure. The bus trip went smoothly and I did manage to close my eyes for a short time. We had a 15 minute stop at 2:30am and then continued straight on to San Francisco.
