After the issues with the camper van, we have finally got this part of the trip under way. We travelled north (again) but further to the Bay of Islands, a beautiful place with some stunning scenery on the way. We had planned to carry on to the northern tip of NZ today but the weather was absolutley awful, so we decided to change routes and make our way to the West side. We navigated through thick tropical forrest and windy roads, seeing the biiggest tree NZ on route (it was huge). The terrain changes so quickly, from forrest to flat lands to mountains and sand dunnes!!

We made it back to Auckland, and we are planning to meet our friends we met in Fiji tonight.

Off to Hamilton and the southern parts tomorrow, much more action packed with bungy jumping etc..(we hope)
