Woke up to a fantastic day of sun and heat. Took an underground tube over to the London Eye. What amazing views from the top; all over London and seeing some of the great landmarks from the previous days from different perspectives. We started our day with a move from Kings Cross to Chelsea. After settling in we went on another walking tour around the area of Soho. This was quite amazing place with a reputation!! What an amazing day! Our first real day in London. Decided to do two walking tours; the first one around Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards, Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament which really showed us the Royal and Political buildings in Central London. The holiday has begun. So exciting to catch up with Rebekah and Jason this afternoon after travelling in the tube from London to Gloucester. The flights were great; time swallowed up with movies and a little shut eye here and there. Just did a bit of shopping for breakfast, had a meal at the local Hemmington Pub before coming back to our room for a good nights sleep. Looking forward to tomorrow with lots to do.
