Up early for breakfast and off to the airport. A fabulous holiday. Not sure if we are ready for twelve hours travelling to Kuala Lumpur then four hours stop over before another eight hours to Brisbane. Oh well, that is what you have to do. A FABULOUS holiday.

Last day of the trip. Onto the bus at 8.00 am and straight into the main area of Paris. We drove around the various landmarks and went off through the Notre Dame Church. Very pictorial with the paintings and sculptures telling many stories. We then visited the Latin Quarters which was really bustling with shops and people. Quite a big day of travel to Paris. It took us nearly five hours with two stops. Drove into Paris from the south and went straight to Versai where the palace is located. We met up with a local guide who took us through the palace and through the gardens. These were spectacular. Louis certainly lived the good life here. We drove down the road of the English countryside to the area of Avignon. We walked around the old city which was beside the river with the bridge that went no where! It was a lovely place with many areas of alfresco dining. Had a lovely lunch of paella with Rebekah and Jason. The geography of the land changed as we continued driving through Italy on our way to Lyon. Dinner at the hotel. Another good day of sight seeing.

Breakfast the walked around Nice up to Garibaldi Square then down through the park through to the main shopping centre. Walked up to where the railway crossed and decided to hop on tram up to the northern area of Nice. We then went to the southern end and back to Opera the city centre.
