We drove down the road of the English countryside to the area of Avignon. We walked around the old city which was beside the river with the bridge that went no where! It was a lovely place with many areas of alfresco dining. Had a lovely lunch of paella with Rebekah and Jason. The geography of the land changed as we continued driving through Italy on our way to Lyon. Dinner at the hotel. Another good day of sight seeing.
