We met up for dinner and was joined by another couple, one of whom had been to England, Ireland and Italy. We flicked through the pictures I had taken during the day on the camera screen, which also had all my pictures from my recent Ireland excursion. Each picture reminded her of a place she had visited, including the Bushmills distillery. This brought us on nicely to the topic of vodka, so we sampled some very nice examples of such quite late into the evening.
The next morning, we decided not to try the hotel restaurant for breakfast, but head into town and try to eat at a cafe. I managed to eat most of a cake, most, as I had managed to choose one filled with apricots. We then took a walk around the town, I took a couple of pictures. I will admit, I was not happy, I still had a knot in my stomach which I had had since leaving home, I was a little worried about the ride to L'viv, and was also sad as I had to say goodbye to my friend, and spend a day alone in Ukraine without anyone to help me.
As I checked out of the hotel, I was showered with literature about the hotel to take with me, and everyone had big smiles. I could not work out if these smiles were for me actually leaving or the fact that I came to stay. My friend assured me it was for my visit, and because they liked my bike.
