We have had a very eventful day in Magnetic Island! Arrived early evening yesterday and the hostel is really nice overlooking the beach. Just got back from 5 hours of white water rafting and it was brilliant!!!!!!! We were in grade 4 rapids (5 will drown you!) and it was so much fun! There were 6 of us in the raft with an instructor who shouted various commands like 'get down' 'over left' and we were flying about in the raft knocking into each other. Well it is my last day before Paula flies home and I am very sad. Arrived in Ao Nang yesterday after reluctantly leaving the beatuiful resort and beach on Phi Phi!! Ao Nang is ok but very glad we only spent a night here! Have been to the beach and had a look round what is a very small town. We stayed in a lovely resort which is like being in the jungle!!
