Well I have had a very busy 2 days in Singapore!! Arrived yesterday morning and was met by my sister's friends who I was staying with. Had a yummy dim sum for lunch which I didn't realise I liked but now absolutely love!! Had a look round China Town which was cool and makes me want to visit China, and visited a temple where the Buddha's tooth is - nice! and an Indian temple. Then went for a foot massage which was bloody painful but really good. There was a man getting a back massage which involved practically being stepped on and he was fast asleep and snoring - the Singaporian man was giggling away at him! Then had a Singapore Sling cocktail at the famous Raffles hotel - very posh. We then watched an Indian movie - 3 hours long but was brilliant! I have never seen a Bollywood film before but I loved it and want to see more. Ended the night having a late dinner in the Indian Quarter then collapsed into my bed after having been awake since 0430!!

Today I have been exploring by myself as the others had to work. Had a walk along the river until it chucked it down with rain and I managed to steal an umbrella from a very posh hotel! Saw the famous theatre (can't remember the name!) in the shape of a prickly Dorian fruit and a wheel similar to the London eye, also the symbol of Singapore - a Merion (half merman half lion I think?!) which was a bit naff. Then went to the Asian Civilisation Museum which was so interesting and my brian is now full on Asian culture! Had lunch by the river and having been told that there was virtually no crime in Singapore there was a man being chased and thrown to the ground next to the restaurant and the police came - I must attract it!! Going to have some dinner with my sister's friends then off to the airport to fly to Cairns!!!!!!!
