Hello all

So I made it to NZ, the journey was pretty hectic (22hrs including stop offs!) so I was really jet lagged yesterday!

So far NZ has been a bit tough, the jet lag maybe hampering my judgement but the worst is the weather as it is really poor :( There is a storm over the island which is creating tornados / rain & snow :( It was a real shocker when i got here. i knew the weather would be bad but wasnt really expecting snow! This will now effect some of the stuff that I do, many of the tours do extras such as surfing etc - hummm

So i have been looking in to hiring a car to go to the bay of islands and a North Island coach tour and another for the south island but I need to look properly at money (and time).

I went in to Auckland yesterday it reminds me a bit fo B'mouth! A lot of bungalows and not a lot going on, but as the city only has 1 million people (London has 7 million) it feels very small to me! New Zealand is suppose to be about the scenery and the beauty so i suppose I should look to leave Auckland as soon as, the only problem is that I would really like to meet people....

So today im going to go to Base which is a central backpackers and see if I can hang around a friend of mine Tom raves about the place and said how amazing it was so I will see what its like!
