Hey all,

Im going to keep this short and sweet as I dont know how long I will get on the internet....currently in the middle of the rainforest!

So Im on the second day of my bus tour, currently touring the North Island of NZ. So far I have been to hot water beach (where you dig a hole in the sand and hot water comes up....not sure if an explination was needed for that!). I spent last night in my first hostel in a dorm! Slept on the top bunk, the novelty failed me at about 5.30am this morning when I woke again due to a doddgy heater...anyway ill have to get use to this as otherwise Ill run out of money.

I was really nervous about doing this trip mainly as I dont like coaches (tricky as Im on one for 16 days now!) but so far Im really enjoying it. I have made friends and the scenery is beautiful....today we walked to a waterfall in the rain forest which was breath taking.

Tomorrow Im off to caves to see glow worms and then for a 'cultural night' with a local tribe!

I am knackered but happy / safe and starting to slowly get in to the ways of the traveller.
