to cut a long story short:
the last 5 days I spent in the wilderness of Chile, in the national park Torres del Paine (named after the mountain peaks you see on the pictures, made at sunrise)
Kim from Netherlands (who I met in Puerto Madryn about 10 days earlier and met by chance in Puerto Natales again), Lauren from the US (Chicago) and I went trekking and camping in this huge national park. People who have already climbed the Kilimanjaro (I met one in the bus) go there just to see the Torres del Paine (on the picture). The funny thing is that I had not known this place a few weeks before going there and only got to know that I will trek there when I talked to the Kilimanjaro guy who told me about it - and said it was "easy".
It was an incredibly beautiful landscape!!! However, the cold, camping (-7 in the night), walking for hours (in the dark too), being afraid of mice eating our food while we were asleep, no hot water for 5 days, no showers and being in a bad shape (=physical estate) and still walking with hurting knees, shoulders with too big backpacks on it made it feel like f******* HELL.
But I've seen what only few people of my age have seen in their lives: the sunrise at Torres del Paine :) :) (we saw much much more though)
Finally I feel sorry for all my friends who are waiting for an answer to their mails: sorry, you will have to wait a bit more!! I'm so busy, I barely cannot find enough time to sleep.. sorry!
