Here I am, writing a short blog entry again...
I spent three days in a little town, El Calafate, which is named after a berry, growing in Patagonia. People say, if you eat this berry, your return to Patagonia is garantueed. I haven't eaten fresh Calafates (it's not the season) but I ate ultrasweet jam made of it.
Here I watched wild flamingoes a few metres away from the city centre, was wondering what a single horse does on the shoreline, just between the lake Argentino and the road, meeting travelers I already had known before, and the best of all:
I walked on a glacier!!!
With some metal spikes attached to my shoes I was walking on tons of ice, on the glacier Perito Moreno and finally drank a glass of whiskey with glacier ice in it :D
That was really great!! I've never seen such a beautiful blue before...
The rest of the time I spent on recovering from the trekking in Torres del Paine, talking with other travelers (in hostels) and stroking a black cat while sitting on a couch with a beautiful view on the huge lake Lago Argentino.
After a 26 hours bus ride I arrived today to El Bolson, the "hippie capital" of Argentina and once again met travellers I've already known before :)
sorry again for this short blog entry,
sorry for unanswered mails!!
