Julee on Tour
I left Ulladulla today and travelled by coach to Bateman's Bay down the coast and then on another coach inland to Canberra, the capital.
The countryside is lush with green rolling hills and open plains - very unAustralian! The town is rather like a very large park with occasional large cement blocks throughout - these being government buildings and national monuments etc. Quite strange. The CBD itself reminds me of Rotterdam - lots of concrete, 70s shopping parades and s***e over-sized sculptures masquerading as artwork.
Anyway, there's lots to see and do so i'll be out there tomorrow doing my usual touristy wandering.

p.s Dear Off Exploring people, why aren't there any stock pics of Canberra in your Aus selection?
