Day 23 Tuesday 3/09 Paris 29 deg Sunny -
Enid here…packing and leaving the house in our old world movie set village left us wanting to stay longer and enjoy all the area had to offer. We headed to Giverny to Claude Monet's house and gardens, absolutely beautiful so many colours and varieties of plants and the lily pond with its hanging trees gave the scenes he was famous for painting. Not long and we were in Paris with all its lovely streets and buildings the temperature hit 30 and dropping off the car and walking the 2km back to our apartment was lovely in the sunshine. A visit to the Boulangerie (cake shop) and cooking dinner at home the apartment is very comfortable and modern, "tre-chic". Can't wait to ditch the box of cereal for a breakfast out tomorrow.
