Day 16 Monday 26/08 Lake Garda > Dijon 21deg Cloudy -
The "drugs" and rest have helped so I am feeling much better, thankfully it is a driving day so I can rest in the car. We headed off in misty rain and 18deg, into heavy holiday traffic, it took an hour to do 4k. We were then on the tollways where you can do a 130kph or in some areas unlimited. We travelled through the awesome Italian/Swiss/French Alps and 28 tunnels, the longest Mont Blanc at 11k with a toll of €41.40 for this privilege. We passed another amazing glacier, the beautiful town of Cluses where we stopped for lunch. So much to take in, alps, glaciers, chickens, cows, viaducts, valleys, villages, beautiful ...arrived in Dijon to misty rain and 17deg. We travelled 756k with tolls of €107.80 for 571k, still much cheaper than our tolls and very good roads.
