Monday 26th May - Wednesday 28th May 2008

Its now Monday 26th and we werent too far away from the coast and I got a text from one of the guys I did Oz Intro with saying that 5 of them were in Townsville which is where we were heading, so we arranged to meet up with them.

When we got there we parked up in the city centre and then met them a little later. That was really nice to see some familiar faces! We headed back to their campsite to shower up and everything then sorted out a bbq between us all which was sweet! That night we ended up getting quite drunk, ended with nakedness in the sea, gotta love it :D

On Tuesday me and Adam headed into town to try and book some tours across to Magnetic Island however everyone we spoke to was pretty useless so we picked up a few leaflets so we could then decide what sounded the best. We then met up with the guys again and spent the night at their campsite doing some washing and freshening up.

Wednesday now so we headed back into the city to book a tour to Magnetic Island. We booked a 3 night package where we got 3 night accomodation in Base which is a hostel slap bang on the beach, a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef including snorkelling, lunch etc etc, plus kayak hire and stuff from the beach where we are staying. We will see how it goes!
