Day 13: Had hoped it would be a nice easy 62 miles into John O'Groats after our hard 12 days so far - no such luck - hard hills and a 20mph wind right on our noses made it feel like pedaling in treacle! On the positive side the drizzle brightened to blue skies, not forecast, so dry.
Made John O'Groats at 1430, what an achievement, emotional and physical highs and lows, my knee today just held on!
Total 989miles - not the shortest - but I now know - one of the hardest routes! One bike for sale but no punctures north to south!
