At 4.45am our car to the airport arrived and we headed off to Heathrow for our 9.30am flight to Nairobi. Today was my birthday and we were off to the Masai Mara after an early, 0600, breakfast hoping to see a crossing and plenty of wildlife activity. We had a leisurely start to the day as we were leaving at 8.00am to catch our Air Mombassa flight to the Masai Mara.
