We left Asa Wright at 0630 and were at the airport by 0715 for our 0935 flight! When we checked in they asked if we wanted to go on the 0810 flight - we said yes as we could have a coffee while waiting for our transfer in Tobago. As luck would have it on arrival in Tobago when we were asked by the taxi desk if we needed a taxi and I told them who was picking us up - he phoned them and the daughter arrived early .....she was pleased as she would be able to go home early after having done an early airport drop off.....win win. Indeed we arrived at Blue Waters inn at the time we should have arrived at the airport......only downside was we had to wait for our room .....but with a fruit punch in the bar and lovely scenery to look at who is complaining!
We were given room 40 - a king size double room with a walk in shower right on a sandy beach - the hotel has recently been refurbished and it is a really lovely property surrounded by woodland on one side and sea on the other.
Our afternoon was spent relaxing on the sun-beds and snoozing ---but I did swim for 50 minutes before changing for supper to work up an appetite.
