June 4th - a very special day for us as our son Brandon was born on this day 31 years ago. Sure hope he had a great day. On June 2nd we caught the 7:45 Ferry that runs from Tsawassen to Nanaimo British Columbia. The Ferry is huge with restaurant, snack bar, gift shops and even workstations for those that are catching up on work on their way across. What a wonderful day in Washington we had. We first headed into Puyallup to visit with Robin and Steve. On the way we could see a hugh mountain in the background. It was Mt Baker. We met Robin at the house and she gave us a tour. She has a music studio where teachers come to teach their students (as well as doing it in the house). Steve is building her a second studio. Dad had sent me a message to see if they still gave silver dollar coins in your change in Montana. I wasn't sure what he meant but then we saw tons of these ads for a souvenir store/bar. We just had to stop in. I asked the clerk about the change and she said that they used to but they no longer gave out the silver dollars. She did give us a write up on them.
