We left Sterling Park in Greenville about 10:45am and the temperature is already 77 degrees. It looks like it's going to be a great day. Tuesday, the 28th was a real reward for living through being wet most of the day on Monday. We got up and had a much healthier breakfast at home. Then, I had spotted a pecan factory and store close by on TripAdvisor so we got ready and went to visit Priesters Pecans. On Monday morning we saw that the rain was moving in so we decided to leave early. We Before we hooked up we headed down to McDonald's for a quick "healthy" breakfast. We pulled out of our driveway this morning at 7am. It was 22 degrees and boy were we ready to head for warmer places. We went down 231 through Jasper and I saw the most beautiful, very old Catholic church. I would have liked to stop and get a picture but didn't get to. Our original plan was to leave on Monday the 27th. However, the weather forecast here was for all day rain. So....we decided to leave on Sunday the 26th instead.
