On Monday we went on a drive towards Fort Morgan to check out some other RV parks in the area. Although this park is beautiful we have found that most of the people here come for 3 to 6 months and have been coming here for years. Therefore, they all have a pretty tight circle of friends among each other. Also, these campers are "hard core" for lack of a better term. On Sunday we drove part of what is called the Coastal Connection. It took us along the coast from Gulf Shores toward Mobile Bay. There is no point in taking lots of pictures of what were many million dollar houses along the water. The houses were close and the landscaping hid the water at times. We got to a pull off in the road and I took the 3 pictures there. After our stop we headed back home and spent a quiet afternoon there.

On Saturday we visited the U.S.S Alabama Museum and Park in Mobile. The park has memorials for the Vietnam and Korean wars as well as an Avatian Museum. Both the Alabama and the Drum. Friday was a cold morning. it got down to 40 last night, but it was 26 at home so I'll take 40. We started to the grocery store and found that the wheel sounded worse, so off to the nearest Chevrolet garage for us. Thursday was a pretty laid back day. we went to Orange Beach and Zeke's Marina to get information on fishing. There is a craft warning right now due to a blustery wind. it is chilly and with the wind is even colder. If it calms down Jerry may be able to go out next week.
