We pulled out of our driveway this morning at 7am. It was 22 degrees and boy were we ready to head for warmer places. We went down 231 through Jasper and I saw the most beautiful, very old Catholic church. I would have liked to stop and get a picture but didn't get to. I bet there was a lot of history behind that old church. We hit Bowling Green about 11:30 and it was warming up nicely by that time. Lunch was a sandwich and chips in the RV and time to walk around a bit at a Pilot. The good thing about the Pilots, other than they are always pretty clean, is that if you are a Good Sam's member you get a discount on gas and propane. We hope to fuel up there as often as possible to keep the fuel costs down. When we got to Nashville it was in the upper 50's and time to shed some clothes, hooray!. We got to our home for the night about 3:30 right over the Alabama state line in Athens, Alabama. We had read really food reviews for this little place and it is great for a one night stay. All ammenities and privacy for the spot we had. The drive went well and the RV pulled like a dream! Tomorrow is another day and we will be moving on to Greenville for a couple of nights. Won't need to leave so early so I can sleep in a little. Take care everyone!
