The start of my stay in Wales was slow. I started getting very homesick early on and had to call home to cheer me up. After speaking to family and receiving their advice, I decided I needed to snap out of it.
On day two I met an Australian guy named Patrick, an Irish guy named Adrian, and an Australian girl named Emily. It turns out we had a lot in common - which is usually the case seeing as though we are all backpackers - and spent the afternoon in the common room chatting and then went out for dinner and a few drinks.
We had a bit of lazy day on the third day, trying to save money. So not much to report.
Day four was quite the opposite. Pat and I went to Cardiff Castle and did a pub crawl afterwards. We met a few local guys and shared a few pints and a game or two of pool. At about 5 decided to head home, get Adrian, have dinner, and head out.
The following day was my last day in Wales. We didn't do much because I needed rest and the weather was tragic! That night I had a bus to Paris at 2:45am. It was freezing outside!
