Left Calliope at 10.45 am on Sunday drove via Rockhampton had a coffee and drove on and stopped at Duaringa historic railway village left at 6.30 am and drove along the Capricorn Highway it follows the rail large amounts of coal being transported east. The topographic of this land is amazing.Arrived at Barcaldine at 1.20pm walked over to the tree of knowledge the birth place of the Australian labour movement and the Australia Workers Union the great shearers strike of 1890 the farmers tried to reduce wages and conditions they stopped out for 6 months
