Free camping today at hay lovely site by river yesterday we visit the Dunera museum which was the internment and POW camps interpretive centre 1940-1946 Australian 16th Garrison Battalion guarded 6000 German Italian and Japanese internees and POW's Peter wanted to visit as Joshua when taking instruction in the Jewish faith for his Barmitza one of the Dunera boys grandson was part of his group. Must of the boys after the war continued to live in Australia and made a contribution to the Australian way of life and culture. The Dunera boys were over 2500 Jewish internees and they were called Dunera because the ship was named Dunera. Today we visited the Shear Outback where we watched a sheep being Shorn in 2 million sheep in the Hay shire before the drought their are only 600,000 now the shearers get 2.68 per sheep shore and they can average about 200 a day the recored for shearing sheep is 342 and this was made in1980 approximately.
