We got off the night train at about 9:30am and caught a bus to our hostel. Chaing mai is really nice, it has a lot more thai culture then Bangkok (which isnt hard!). In the evening got a tuc-tuc up the mountain to see the famous Doi Suthep temple where we watched the sunset. We finished the evening with banana pancakes!

We packed our bags and caught the sky train to Kho San Road and visited the Emerald Buddha and the Recling Buddha Temples, which are so amazing you have to see them to believe how great they are!! Every inch is covered in either paintings, mosaic, gems, mother of pearl or gold! In the evening we caught the night train to Chaing Mai which was fun!

We didn't wake up till 4pm on New Years Day... probably the flights and late night catching up with us! We caught the sky train back to Saim Square and looked at the shopping centre, which has 7 floors!

New Years Eve! After two six hr flights we finally arrived at the hostel in Sukhumvit at about 8:30pm, after some drinking we got the sky line to Siam Square and arrived at about 11:50! The square was absolutely packed and it was mainly Thai people that had gone there to celebrate the new year.
