We visited the Cu Chi tunnels today which were used during the french and american wars. We walked through the tunnels for about 25metres before I panicked and had to get out! I had to crouch down to walk through the tunnel, it was dark and very hot - very claustrophobic!! In the morning we had lunch together before mandy left... had an all you can eat pasta/salad buffet, which only cost a pound! Walking around today we saw 1000's of plants and flowers for sale for Tet celebrations - people buy flowers for their homes/work to represent good things and remove evil spirits. In the evening we had banana pancakes to celebrate pancake day!!

Today we visited the War museum, which was basically a gallery of photos taken during the Vietnam war. Some of the photos were really graffic and horrific. It was really interesting (and sad at the same time), we learnt a lot about the war and realised that people are still being affected by Agent Orange, which was used by the Americans during the war. Really horrible stuff!

We arrived at Saigon at 7am after an uncomfortable 10hr bus journey. Saigon isn't as busy as we thought it would be, probably because a lot of Vietnamese have travelled north to celebrate Tet (Chinese New Year).

On an island near Nha Trang a millionaire has started to built a complex called Vinpearl. He has also built a cable car which runs 3km along the sea from the mainland to the island. In the afternoon we got the cable car over to Vinpearl, it was quite scary because the cars are really high up at its very windy at Nha Trang!
