Check out the monster key!

This, folks, is the key to my new pad! They must have seen me coming a mile off and decided I needed a key that was impossible to lose! It's like something out of a fairy-tale; I feel I should be able to unlock treasure chests or secret gardens with it, rather than a plain old flat in a Delhi suburb!

Yes, I have found a room to rent for the next three months or so. It's in a great location, not far from where I was staying with Emily and near Chaya and the yoga centre. My flat-mates are two women; an Austrian and a Russian and they both seem lovely. It is a bit like going back to my student days - the place isnt furnished, so at the moment I have a mattress on the floor. But it's a base and I have spent a pleasant day finding homes for the contents of my rucksack, as well as the suprising amount of stuff that I have managed to accumulate in the last few weeks.

So, I am now officially a resident of New Delhi!
